Wow. What a week! We went from introducing a new cat to the home, to full on pain management lessons! Oh my! At least we found out a little more about LeeLoo’s history.
From the Foster:
I got her from a family on Facebook that had to re-home her. They told me that they moved to a new apartment, and thought they could bring both cat and dog, but found out only the dog was allowed. They said they purchased her from a breeder almost 2 yrs ago for $300 who said she was a Maine Coon. I can ask them if they noticed anything, but she seemed normal when I got her. She was in an extra large dog kennel at my home, and wasn’t here very long, about a week. Hopefully she continues to improve!! Thank you for the update.
From LeeLoo’s first owner:
I’m so sorry that is sad. We really didn’t notice anything abnormal as far as changing moods she was always sweet for a moment but then had enough after a short time if the kids would hold her. We just thought it was her being a moody cat. So sorry to hear about her condition I really wish I had some Helpful information but I just don’t
We’ve not made much progress as far as getting her to Like Cooper Cat but at least she will tolerate him unless he gets too close. But pain and depression makes for a cranky soul, so hopefully she will open up in the next week and show us who she really is!
Catch up on her first week!
